Free Cruise Giveaway — Official Rules

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase or payment will not improve your chances of winning. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. This promotion (the “Giveaway”) is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Virgin Voyages or any cruise line.

The Giveaway is sponsored and administered by SPLASH (the “Sponsor”). All questions or comments regarding the Giveaway must be directed to the Sponsor at [email protected], and not to Virgin Voyages or any other third party.

The Giveaway is open only to individuals who are at least 21 years of age at the time of entry and who are legal residents of a jurisdiction where the Giveaway is permitted by law. Employees, officers, and directors of the Sponsor, and their immediate family members and members of their households, are not eligible to enter or win. By entering, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.

The Giveaway begins on the date it is published on the SPLASH website and ends when the Sponsor closes entries and selects a winner (the “Entry Period”). The Sponsor will announce the winner-selection date on the SPLASH website and/or by email. The Sponsor may extend, shorten, suspend, or modify the Entry Period at its sole discretion, subject to applicable law.

To enter, join the SPLASH waitlist during the Entry Period by submitting a valid entry through the sign-up form on the SPLASH website with accurate and complete information. Limit one (1) entry per person and per email address. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, fraudulent, duplicated, or submitted through automated means are void. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will be handled in accordance with the SPLASH Privacy Policy.

There will be one (1) winner only. The winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The random drawing will be conducted by the Sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to the Giveaway. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

The potential winner will be notified by the email address provided at entry. The potential winner may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, and (where lawful) a publicity release within the time period specified by the Sponsor. If the potential winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable time, fails to respond, declines the prize, is found ineligible, or fails to comply with these Official Rules, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected at the Sponsor’s discretion.

The prize is one (1) cruise for two (2) people on a Virgin Voyages sailing, as selected and arranged by the Sponsor, subject to availability and to the terms, conditions, and booking policies of the applicable cruise line. The prize covers the standard cruise fare for a cabin for two guests only. Unless expressly stated in writing by the Sponsor, the prize does NOT include airfare, ground transportation, transfers, government taxes and fees, port charges, gratuities, travel insurance, passports or travel documents, shore excursions, onboard purchases, meals or beverages not included in the standard fare, or any other expenses of any kind. All such costs are the sole responsibility of the winner and guest.

The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the prize will be determined by the Sponsor and depends on the sailing, cabin category, and travel dates selected. The actual value may vary; no difference between the stated ARV and actual value will be awarded. The prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, express or implied, by the Sponsor.

The prize is non-transferable and may not be sold, auctioned, or exchanged. No cash alternative or substitution is offered, except that the Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a prize (or portion of a prize) of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for any reason. Travel must be completed within the timeframe and subject to any blackout dates specified by the Sponsor and the cruise line. The winner and guest must meet all requirements of the cruise line, including age, identification, health, and travel-document requirements. The guest must also meet the eligibility requirements and, if applicable, sign a liability release. Failure to satisfy any condition may result in forfeiture of the prize.

All federal, state, provincial, and local taxes and any other costs and expenses associated with the acceptance or use of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Where required by law, the Sponsor may report the value of the prize to tax authorities and may require the winner to provide tax-identification information before the prize is awarded.

By entering, each entrant agrees to release, discharge, and hold harmless the Sponsor and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Giveaway or the acceptance, possession, or use or misuse of the prize, including travel-related activities. The Sponsor is not responsible for any acts or omissions of the cruise line or any third-party provider.

Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of the prize constitutes the winner’s consent to the Sponsor’s use of the winner’s first name, last initial, city/state of residence, and likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation.

The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it believes has tampered with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway, or has acted in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Giveaway, subject to applicable law.

This Giveaway and SPLASH are not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Virgin Voyages. All trademarks, service marks, and trade names referenced belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.

These Official Rules and the Giveaway are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Sponsor operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction located there, to the extent permitted by law.
